I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel near the river. The location is simply stunning, right on the shores of river Lek and near a small beautiful village. The hotel has a unique charm, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped with all facilities one needs. I stayed in a room on the first floor and was impressed by the attention to detail. The fully working air conditioning was a bonus, ensuring a comfortable stay even in hot weather. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked rolls delivered right to my door in the morning.
Everything was perfect!

Located near a small picturesque village and on the shores of the Lek river, this hotel is a perfect spot for couples or small families who are looking for a peaceful getaway. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a little ferry. You can enjoy a mesmerizing view of the surrounding area while having breakfast delivered right to your room. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is sparkling clean. The staff is helpful and accommodating. However, the steep staircase leading to the rooms is not suitable for disabled individuals.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, with the best aspects being the location near a small beautiful village and right on the shores of the river Lek. The breakfast was wonderful, with juice, fruit salad, yogurts, eggs. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel, and the helpfulness of the staff.

Best aspects? Spending my Christmas holiday at this hotel was amazing! The apartment-style room was huge, had a stunning view of the river, and was fully equipped with everything I needed. Plus, the location is perfect for exploring the charming town nearby and renting bikes to explore the Dutch countryside. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Worst aspects? Unfortunately, the stairs leading to the room were steep and narrow, which may be difficult for some guests to climb. Additionally, there were some noise disturbances from the nearby ferry, and the breakfast didn't start until 9:30, which was a little late for my liking. Despite these minor issues, I still had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable stay.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel's general areas. The vintage furniture and beautiful artwork created a warm and cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of my own home. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with comfortable seating areas throughout the common spaces, making it easy for me to rest and relax as needed.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the children working there in terms of helping seniors with their luggage. A dedicated staff member to assist with carrying suitcases up and down the stairs would have made the vacation even more enjoyable for senior guests.

Moreover, the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, making guests feel welcomed and attended to throughout their stay. The rooms are attractively decorated, spacious, and airy, providing all the basic amenities one needs. I was particularly impressed with the fully working air conditioning on the first floor, which ensured a comfortable night's sleep. Lastly, the breakfast served at this hotel is simply delightful, with freshly baked rolls delivered to the room each morning.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the apartment was mind-blowingly clean. The breakfast was varied and huge, delivered to the room. There was free parking and a bar/ lounge area available. The view from our room was breathtaking, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the romantic atmosphere and the location was perfect for a couple's escape.
Our room was not very clean. We found a few hairs on the bed and in the bathroom, which was a bit disappointing.

Peaceful surroundings overlooking the lake, with a remote location. Nice clean room with all amenities including TV with English movie and series channels. Restaurant downstairs with good food and a nice breakfast provided in a small basket with fresh breads in the morning. Tea and coffee provided in the room. Very courteous staff.
Felt immediately at home, nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed at 'T Veerhuys for a biking tour and had a fantastic time. The secure bike parking and the option to switch to e-bikes were a big plus. The staff was friendly, the drinks and food were great, and the location was perfect. We had the hotel to ourselves and the weather was amazing. This hotel set the bar high for future stays.
I do recommend this hotel.
